The USA and Europe are not the problems of Africa, the evil mindedness of African leaders and their subservient supporters are the problems. Just like you have jagabanists in Nigeria, you can't blame Europeans for the evil that Nigerians are doing to each other. If African people made up their mind to abandon evil and greed for greater good of all in building their countries, no Jupiter from elsewhere can stop them.

France was always going to back down as long as Nigeriens support their new military leaders.

One thing I learned about Foreign countries is that they don't have MISPLACED PRIORITIES like what we are known for in this part of the world. They always choose their poisons wisely!

That is where Whites are way above the Blacks, they don't fight senseless wars like you have in Nigeria where youths are fighting each other over tribal and religion differences whereby all of them are confronted with the same reality of bad leadership.

France will still come back to Niger in a different fold but it is not until the current tension is absolved, they are not in hurry, they are ready to play the long game depending on how the current military leaders are able to build chemistry with Nigerien people.

Let's see if the ongoing military juntas in Africa will be able to better their civilian predecessors in working to liberate their people from poverty.

They didn't banned it. Ilorin issue has complicit of Yoruba muslims who had sudden craze for foreign religion. The matter's in court and it's a case of no retreat no surrender. That can be said among the Fulanis too that left their idol worshipping for Muhammad or for Igbos who left Arochukwu, Okija shrines for roman catholicism.
