Accident of fireworks catching on cheap building materials, hardly anyone's fault.

I went through the news yesterday, I think it wasn't a case of incompetence, the fire was triggered by the use of heavy fire works at the wedding venue by extravagant guests.

But I will still blame the government anyway, stiffer measures should be put in place to stop the use of fire works in Iraq, even a total ban is highly needed, Iraq remains a very volatile country, any measure that will guarantee security is welcome.

Omo see carelessness. Why will sensible people light fireworks inside a building when there are flammable things inside. Any way rip to the dead. All this halls should start having emergency exist for cases like this. There should be doors everywhere so people will find it easy evacuating. Most event centers usually have one or two doors. Now imagine a case like this where everybody is running towards one or two doors

A fire sprinkler system should also b made a priority.

People really need to learn to use fireworks in a responsible way

I don't think it's the regular Xmas type fireworks. I belive it's those colored indoor fireworks that they use here in Nigerian weddings too. The ones that shoot from the ground and can reach up to 10feet even. Some have smaller types they put on Champhage bottles and cakes used in nightclubs.

When I read the story earlier on cnn this morning, they mentioned the cheap type of roofing and building bond materials used in the building which are highly flammable. It's a shame really, all the needless deaths at a time of celebration.

It's not the fire that killed them, but the fear, panic, distress. It's unfortunate, that most people don't value life by their behaviors and attitudes, but when death stares them, they tremble and plead for life. RIP to the dead
