The Alaigbo Youth Forum has planned to host an Alaigbo Youth Summit in December, but the list of panellists at the event has caused controversy. Some people have objected to the presence of APC supporters at the event. They claim that these APC supporters denigrated Igbos.

Miss Chidimma Makuachukwu (Ada Anambra) is an APC supporter that was invited to speak at the event. She is the National Program Manager of the Renewed Hope Shelter for the Poor, Refugees and IDPs. Some people objected to her presence at the event and the organisers were forced to withdraw the invitation that was extended to her.

Blessing Onwumere is a former student union activist and PDP politician. She is also a supporter of Governor Hope Uzodimma. Some people have also objected to her presence at the event.

Ada Anambra should stick to her appointment of building low cost houses that will not even be affordable because of high inflation in the country. I have been to Southeast a couple times, but i think my safety in the region is now in jeopardy with the amount of hate manisfesting daily from these folks, i might cancel all my engagement in
the region. To ibos, it is all about power and anyone who ever denied Obi the oppourtnity to become ibo President must be cancelled. The criticism of Tinubu by majority of ibos is proven to be ungeninue and unpatrotic, not for the love the country. The hate towdrds Tinubu and yoruba is because they denied ibo the Presidency.

If there was no freedom of choice in Lagos, PO would not have won Lagos State. We can argue that the results of the presidential elections for Lagos were "doctored" to reduce the lead, but surely there was freedom for the presidential. For Lagos guber, that's a different kettle of fish and a discussion for another day.
