You say this forgetting that these men have financial (and other) responsibilities to their families which could sometimes affect their work life while their wives most likely make their own money and keep it for themselves. Besides how much are these people payed nowadays. I have in my own experience had more friendly interactions with male bankers than female bankers. Female bankers can be absolute b****es sometimes.
As to why it appears females are dominating the banking sector it is the money matter itself. We all know that p***y is a money magnet. To make matters even worse the male stakeholders of these banks must have agreed to follow this approach. And in the end we will say the world is set up against men. Who runs the world in the first place? I was at an electronics store one day and a group of females came rushing to me trying to persuade me to buy one of their products. Before I left I had to ask one of the guys there why there are so many females in stores like this as I had been noticing the trend for some time. He simply told me that it was because the female are being used to try as much as possible to seduce customers into buying their products.

I don't know where the Op got his statistics from but females have tremendous inroads in the banking industry. I know quite a few divisional heads in some banks that are females....

Women don't dominate the executive positions in banks simply because they don't constitute the majority of employees. Upon the figures put out, he still foolishly believes women rise faster in career ladders. If so, why are they not CEOs? Why are they not the majority gender across all banks?

If you were indeed a banker in two top banks, you would also know where to get this information. Read through the thread and you will see the gender ratio for TOP banks. Even FBN with most coverage has a whoopings 61% to 39% of males to females. So which top bank did you work in that employs more females?

If women are working in the bank, men will find money from anywhere and visit that bank so the women there approve of them.
Men won't like to have empty bank account and let the women workers fully see their whole account empty like that.

Other men will go and do "bros abeg", borrow out all the money and not pay back.

This is not true. There are more men in the banking sector than females. What happens is that most Frontline officers (customer service unit, tellers, HR and marketers) are mostly females so you tend to see and interact with them more. Behind the scene it's virtually male... infotech unit, fund transfer unit, internal control unit, financial control unit, legal unit. Let's not even talk of Drivers, dispatch riders and security. There's no bank in Nigeria were women are even 40%

I bet they have never seen what makes up a core marketer's KPI. So if you meet deposit target, you go home and sleep? Leave risk assets, ebanking and branch profit for your ancestors. The only unit in banking that steady has females is Customer Service and that is because CS would test your patience and men no get that time.
