I'm honestly not sure the ship could have been used later in the war for significant tasks, given that a landing operation using these ships will almost certainly never happen anyway. If that ever was a possibility, it would have been back in February 2022 when the Russians still had the element of surprise, but even then it was not attempted. If it was too dangerous then, it's fairly obvious that it would be much more dangerous now, given Ukraine's access to underwater drones and anti-ship missiles.
