It wasn't Obaseki that tamed Adams Oshiomole. Rather it was the likes of Fayemi, Amosun and El Rufai that wanted Oshiomole out because they were indirectly targeting to dislodge Tinubu by first dislodging Oshiomole. When the whole plan became very tough within, Obaseki and Co ran to Wike begging on their knees and Wike offered help with heavy price tag. Obaseki was just a beneficiary.

The rest is now history as they were rewarded by Tinubu in their own coin while Oshiomole added another cap as a Senator. It's all politics. The dangerous game.
