Dumebi Kachikwu Urges Personal Responsibility and Change to Tackle Lingering Storm in Nigeria

In a powerful address to the Nigerian people, Dumebi Kachikwu, Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the 2023 General Elections, has called for personal responsibility and change in order to address the longstanding challenges facing the nation.

Addressing the nation in the new year, Kachikwu acknowledged the storms that have overshadowed Nigeria's development for decades. He highlighted the persistent issues of unity, development, and commitment to the nation. Kachikwu expressed concern over the blame game that has perpetuated the nation's woes, urging Nigerians to take personal responsibility instead of pointing fingers at politicians, public servants, or other groups.

The recent 2023 general elections further exposed the divisions within the nation, prompting Kachikwu to emphasize the need for change. He posed an important question: "Who pays the price for change?" Kachikwu emphasized that to move forward, Nigerians must collectively answer this question in the year 2024. Failure to do so, he warned, would result in continued devastation caused by the storms of inequity, inequality, corruption, religious persecution, infrastructure deficits, insecurity, as well as failing education and healthcare sectors.

Kachikwu argued that Nigeria's problems are man-made and require personal sacrifices to bring about the desired change. He urged Nigerians to accept their personal responsibility and make the sacrifices necessary to mitigate these storms. Social media outrage and hashtags, he noted, will not bring about lasting solutions. Instead, he emphasized the importance of personal transformation and commitment to the common good.

Highlighting the need for Nigeria to no longer be associated with wasted opportunities and squandered resources, Kachikwu urged his fellow citizens to make their nation great. He emphasized that shortcuts and blame games will not suffice; the true price for change lies in personal commitment and change for the greater good.

In conclusion, Kachikwu called on all Nigerians to embrace personal responsibility and make the right decisions in the year 2024. He expressed faith in God's guidance and protection in the journey toward a brighter future for Nigeria.
