Mikel is spot on with this statement. George Opong Weah is the only African player to win the world footballer of the year award. That is the highest individual award in football currently. I think he picked Drogba based on Chelsea relationship but I feel Eto'o should come second after Weah. Eto'o won some top individual and team laurels during his time. |
