No vex.
You are very right about self defence. Habaa! Don't you know or forget that most of we Nigerians always miuse an opportunity? State Police could solve the problem, BUT many rightly criticized it that state governors will bastardize it for both self and political gains.
If the man shoot me and my girlfriend , her daughter commit suicide to join me in the other for continuation of our love , who loose, who gain?

Where you're taking this matter to, is not where the resolution of bearing arms is aimed to address. Your point is totally off key. Bearing arms doesn't mean it's everyone who will bear arm for whatever reasons. Besides, if you misuse it, you won't have the right or licence to bear it again. Besides, intending owners are subjected to various psychological tests and other screenings before they are allowed to own arms. It's not for every Dick, Tom and Harry. And we are talking about resisting genocide and invasion here. Anyways, your point is acknowledged. Thank you.
