We are on ground and not feeling the 7% reduction in extreme poverty o!

Infact, even those that are a bit comfortable have ran away from the country before they end up in extreme poverty.

The reduction has nothing to do with this present government. Read the news first and not the headline.

The news is talking about the advent of internet on the national productivity over the years. It is saying that without the internet, Nigeria's poverty rate will add negative seven percent to the existing number.

Poverty is reducing on paper but not in physical term.Recently over 8,000 applicants applied for job at garment industry in Kwara State for few available job openings and one of the causes of poverty is unemployment.

I think they are correct and actually down played the increase.

Increase in access to internet increased Yahoo activities, which increases money flowing into major cities in Nigeria especially cities housing or close to higher institutions.

Though it is illicit money, none the less those money increases business, economy and standards of living in those communities, thereby improving poverty.

This shows that World Bank data is inaccurate right from day one. Things are more expensive now in Nigeria than ever before in the history of the country, companies are struggling to survive, the Government has not done anything regarding the high unemployment rate in the country and you are telling me that the poverty rate has reduced by 7%. Explain how please.
