that is the idea, when you start sourcing for Naira with the Dollar then the demand for Naira rises so does its value...

Yeah Eko Signature, club suite room to be precise charged me in dollars when I was in 9ja for Christmas. I was surprised and they displayed it @ their front desk/reception, 9ja is a shithole country managed and controlled by kriminals and d*rug cartels.

And that'll automatically crash dollar rate because so much of it will be in circulation.

NPA is part of the problem of this country, what stops you from converting the payment to naira equivalent. Most people in government top positions are not intelligent but get positions due to "I know the oga at the top".

They should open an account in the CBN and pay that money directly to the CBN , just like what NNPC has been told to do

Dollar is not a universal currency please.....

in Brazil, it a crime to transact any business with foreign currency. Even as a diploma working in Brazil your salary from your home country must be converted to Brazilian currency before you can access it. You can only change your currency at the airport or through the banks, no aboki everywhere buying and selling dollars, it's a big crime in Brazil. Here in Nigeria, you even pay prostitutes in dollars, aboki even take their dollars businesses to even religious houses to transact.

As if that will make the useless Naira have value. Tell your useless government and CBN to stop printing excess worthless naira note when they have not increased the capacity of the country financially. If the US government today decide to go to their printing mill to print more dollar the dollar will in turn loose value like the Niara. So, you all should stop chasing the ant in the room while you leave the elephant to run freely in the same room.

You charge in dollars because shipping is an international business, but pay your workers in Naira because they live in Nigeria.

One. I don't know if naira is being printed at the moment because by removing subsidy, Tinubu, govs and chairmen have more revenue than they can share monthly. In fact, they have excess money. Why would they be printing money again unless there is not enough cash in circulation due to destruction of the naira by Emefiele.
Two. USA prints money more than any other country. Go and do your research

You should know without being told that if dollarisation of Nigerian economy is having negative effects, reversal of the practice should also have positive effects. Is that not sensible enough for you?
