This is one of the reasons I don't pity the south east when they shout marginalization. They are not patriotic at all. Every region in nigeria is protesting the unbearable cost of living but they will rather sit down and look. If the protests works and the prices of goods and services come down they will buy cheaper goods from the market and reap where they did not sow. Peter Obi that they see as a messiah is worse than failure. His record in Anambra speaks volume. We will keep teaching you people political lessons
The one they joined in protesting during the endsarrs, how did it end? They later switched the narrative that Igbos want to take over Lagos. A protest that started in ughelli and spread across Nigeria, it was tagged as Igbos trying to take over Lagos.
My friend sit down in your cubicle. This is a democracy. Everyman is free to make his choice

Actually, it is laughable how Ohaneze assumes they have control over what Southeast does.

That is just funny. grin

Most Southeasterners have no regard for that organization... They see them as traitors and sellouts.
They're more political group... Just disguising.

See politics!
If anyone can read in-between the lines, he will discover that this corruption is working for some people and they will never encourage anyone to mess up their chances with one nonsense protest.

Using Nnamdi Kanu as the reason for non participating in a national protest is against every reasonable logic. No one is supporting a violent protest but using Nnamdi Kanu's continuous detention as the basis to form economic committee for APC government is a sabotage against every Igbo people home and abroad.

I hope Ndi Igbo can define their stand and know where to pitch their tent is this time of tribulations.

Why would Ohaneze Ndi Igbo would choose to abandon Nnamdi Kanu to his chains and working hand in hand with their oppressors

3x sales in which economy? How? When people had more purchasing power, businesses didn't post 3x sales. Is it when people are eating just once a day that businesses would now be posting 3x sales?

A beer parlour while selling beer at 350/400 had barely moderate traffic/customer, now beer is about 1000, that beer parlour will now 3x sales? E make sense to you?

It shows you own no business. Most businesses are posting losses. Increase in price of many commodities does not often translate to increase in profits. To make things worse, there's hardly any increase in income for many people so how they'll increase their spending is dumb thinking.

The truth is that no protest can change the price of anything in the market. So anyone deciding not to organize such is right in that regards. A spontaneous revolution whose momentum is sustained by the majority's desire for change and not some organiser and mobilizers is what can bring about what this country needs. Within the present institutional framework and setup, all we'll be getting are different handlers and same results
Bro so many igbos are turning into billionaires now. Do u know that each day dollar add 20 naira, medicine at Lagos Island adds 1k. And people must buy. The number of beer I consume before is still the number I consume now, truth be told, the economy is affecting all, but before an average Igbo man starts complaining, other regions must have seen shege promax
