If this energy was returned by Tinubu and his supporters towards GEJ we won't be where we are today
True. You never know what you have until you loose it. When they were castigating GEJ I knew the one coming after him would be worse, but Nigerian politics is mostly about selfish interests

😁 Very wise decision. We Igbos will never join any planned protests ,no matter what.
Am glad a Northern political leader was flabbergasted on why the SE is keeping quiet over the issue of the current economic crisis and planning of protests.
Let all those who voted in Lagos miracle, enjoy the El Dorado they got very well, and nobody should protest.

Does it mean this government have already exhausted all their solutions?

This is one of the reasons I don't pity the south east when they shout marginalization. They are not patriotic at all. Every region in nigeria is protesting the unbearable cost of living but they will rather sit down and look. If the protests works and the prices of goods and services come down they will buy cheaper goods from the market and reap where they did not sow. Peter Obi that they see as a messiah is worse than failure. His record in Anambra speaks volume. We will keep teaching you people political lessons
You did not support Obi because he's Igbo but u still want an Igbo man to join u to protest against Chicago first class accounting student who has hit the ground running πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Remember that Obi is a third class who destroy Anambra with corruption. While Tinubu the technocrat, the Jagaban of Borgu who transformed Lagos to be like Dubai, is the main deal. Why did you want us to protest against Jagaban whi u said will handle economy well? You want us to protest for ur failure? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ For ur information, we igbos are making more money now. We can't leave our shops and join any useless protest πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I hereby imploy our dear Jagaban of Africa to deploy military. Any protest should be seen as act of treason. They should shoot anybody disturbing the peace of this country by protesting against the Tinubu government.

Bro so many igbos are turning into billionaires now. Do u know that each day dollar add 20 naira, medicine at Lagos Island adds 1k. And people must buy. The number of beer I consume before is still the number I consume now, truth be told, the economy is affecting all, but before an average Igbo man starts complaining, other regions must have seen shege promax

1. Talking about drugs, the price is increasing due to dollar price. It also means the price at which it's imported is increasing. The profit margin remains around the same. What changes however is the number of people buying. If 100 people were able to buy at a moderate price, fewer people will buy at a higher price.

2. Assuming you are still able to buy the same number of bottles, does that mean every customer the shop owner has are able to sustain their lifestyle? Obviously not. What does that translate for the business owner? Less profits. Just yesterday, international breweries posted losses for the last six years. Na childs? Nigerian brewery also had that article that said most Nigerians can't afford to buy beer again. E be jokes to you ba?

Meanwhile, this business owner still has to shop in other places for other things and they are all increasing in price too so the profit gained or retained diminishes quickly. What's worse is as a business owner in recent times, you can sell all your stock and the entire money plus your profit is not enough to restock because the new price of the product is about double already.

Yesterday or so, an apprentice who recently served his oga for seven years received settlement that's not enough to rent a shop. On the same thread, many shared similar harrowing stories. If the bosses were truly billionaires, settling their boys shouldn't be that difficult.

If you dey run legit business in the present dispensation, you go know say no be childs.

The thing is other areas will protest and nothing will happen. If Easterners protest they’ll kill the young men and call them terrorists. I don’t blame them for not wanting to participate.

All they want is a reason to call a dog a bad name to justify killing it

3x sales in which economy? How? When people had more purchasing power, businesses didn't post 3x sales. Is it when people are eating just once a day that businesses would now be posting 3x sales?

A beer parlour while selling beer at 350/400 had barely moderate traffic/customer, now beer is about 1000, that beer parlour will now 3x sales? E make sense to you?
Igbos deals on quality products and not Kai Kai sells like the Yuroba & Hausas. Don’t forget igbos are major importers in the country
It shows you own no business. Most businesses are posting losses. Increase in price of many commodities does not often translate to increase in profits. To make things worse, there's hardly any increase in income for many people so how they'll increase their spending is dumb thinking.

The truth is that no protest can change the price of anything in the market. So anyone deciding not to organize such is right in that regards. A spontaneous revolution whose momentum is sustained by the majority's desire for change and not some organiser and mobilizers is what can bring about what this country needs. Within the present institutional framework and setup, all we'll be getting are different handlers and same results

Abi, they are in a hurry for good government. Instead of allowing Jagaban of Borgu to take dollar to 5k before complaining. Very soon, all Agbadorians will be swimming in crude oil πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ while Obi and igbos will be suffering πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This one pain you. It's Haram to protest against a sitting president. Igbos as much as I know will rather not allow the person in the first place. We should give Tinubu some time to finish his tenure. After 4 years if you don't like his policies, just vote him out. Protest is not the answer.

If the Igbos allow ohaneze to stop them from achieving their freedom, then their bigotry is worse than the Yourubas, who lose if they don't participate? Ohaneze can be bought, infact their are various scandals involving them. Let's forgot about the past mistakes of other tribes, Nigeria is a fraud

Why are They calling igbos to join Their stupid and tribal protest? Igbos are not surprised at all, They knew from Day one that both buhari and Tinubu are cancerous,

Are they tired of standing on tinubu's mandate??

Tinubu must complete his 8yrs like buhari and hand over to Another super-failure,

The north and South West Muslims must receive sense by hunger and extreme poverty.
