Some Nigerians have been brainwashed that they discard facts and embrace delusion.

Who devalued Naira? Tinubu.

Who floated forex? Tinubu.

These actions by Tinubu wiped out the value of any naira you had in your account by more than 100%.

If you had 1 million naira in your account by January 2023, Tinubu had reduced that value. That 1 million naira has a value of 500,000
naira.

Tinubu is the architect of the fall of naira. Any other thing happening is a result of domino effect of his actions.

African mentality and looking for the witch to blame, is tinubu the reason you import everything you use? The cars, mobiles phones and laptops, drugs, clothings and shoes, household accessories and consumables? Is tinubu the reason your refineries are dormant?
You want the govt to continue subsidizing dollars, fuel, power and everything you use while you remain unproductive as a nation? Stop blaming tinubu and get productive or the surfering would continue.

At this point, tinubu should drop this free float and go back to managed float.

Two, give all holders of dorm account and banks 90 days to shut down their dorm accounts.

Revert to bank transfer for dollar transaction irrespective of who is involved. No more cash transaction.

Tinubu is going abroad for medical tourism.
His official cars are imported. He also imported cars to be shared to law makers.

Tinubu said Portharcourt refinery will start working last year December.

Is it not Tinubu government that is blaming binance for fall of naira? Babablu mentality will always yarn dust.

Obidense how many made in nigeria goods does mr pitobi markets in his shops? Does pitobi drives made in nigeria cars?
Face issues realistically instead of throwing sentiments, nigerian economy has been in a rot for several decades with the govt wasting money subsidizing consumables instead of investing in youth development, if you cant understand what that implies I would understand

And it's whose duty to encourage local production and reduce dependence on foreign goods? Our leaders lead by example by importing everything from Tylenol to tissue paper, exotic watches and cars! They go as far as importing services that are readily available in Nigeria

Ask the ITK. Tinubu who made his fortune by taking. Someone who has always been a taker. Look at the whole of Lagos... Alpa-Beta. LCC. The list goes on and on... Look at his life in the US, how he made his fortunes from conning and drug dealing.

Tinubu never gives you anything unless he intends to take something much bigger from you. He set the Lagos economy up so that he could continue taking and taking and taking.

This man has fortunes stashed away in foreign countries. Does he repatriate some to shore up the economy and at least give back for once? No. Does he get his cronies whom he has already fed fat to bring those monies back to reinvest? No... Instead he settles all of them so they can look the other way while he rapes and robs the hapless and helpless in the society.

Now he is trying to collect the small dollars that people have tried to save so that the same inflation caused by the same lifeless govt enabled and supported by the same Tinubu, that pillaged Nigeria for the past 8 years, and further worsened by Tinubu himself, will not claim all their savings made in Naira. And yes, you guessed right, so that he can in turn, collect again in taxes of all kind.

What is wrong in calling all your friends, since you claim to be so good in building bridges? You control the central bank, you control the efcc and cpc, bank of industry. You name it. Call all of them and say... Bobo... We are going to be in deep shit as a political and economic class if we don't act fast o. You, bring so so and so... Pick any area, invest in, while we monitor and regulate. You pick agric... You pick power generation... It doesn't matter which area...

Does he want to tell us that he does not know all politicians have dollars stashed away in warehouses boh home and abroad? Of course not!

But no.. the same mistake made by Buhari that sent forex running for the exit is what this baba olodo must continue, and then forther worsen rhe stagnation in the economy. And then all those oponus that support him will be jubilating and forming ikorodu Socrates upandan.

Now you get the point, the prob we are facing today is the result of the failure/greed of successive govts, each month govs line up to abuja for osusu, money to be squandered with little or no investment in the future generation. The governors/lga chairmen have very critical role to play in developement/industrialization, but unfortunately they are docile, and we let them be.
The govt has been borrowing to subsidize fuel and also to "defend the naira", how exactly has that helped us besides putting us into more debts for the future generations?
Now we can see the true value of our naira, by the time cost of imported goods far exceeds local production, importers/manufacturers would be forced to open production factories here, so we end up import less.
Re: Tinubu Is The One Behind The Fall Of Naira by 9jatriot(m): 3:14pm On Feb 22
Shey una think say una fit blackmail CBN governor and president to peg the rate, each time the black market moves, custom will increase their own rate. If una like move the black market rate twice in a day, custom will follow suit.

Not that CBN will give you dollar at 450, after importing goods, you will use 1500 to calculate how much you will sell, making the government look bad whereas you will be bragging that you have made profit.

NOw we all know the true value of the naira, if you say it is 3000, so be it, let it affect the rich, politicians, hoaders and unfortunately the poor become the unintended victims in this fight but it is for the good of us all.

Every year we tune out engineers from our universities yet ordinary electric they cannot produce, we have chemist, industrial chemist professors yet we import ordinary liquid soap. Buhari tried to use force to block certain products from being imported, you guys were calling him names saying the best way to reduce imports was to increase import rates. This goverment has not increased the import rate but just the exchance rate based on what you guys fix with the black market. If all of you speculators decide this afternoon that the blackmarket rate is 1000, custom will also adjust their rate to 950 so that you can import.

Una think say una smart.
