Fisayo isn't saying anything NEW here. It's been so for several years... Since the days of military rule (several military dictorships) in Nigeria.

But kudos to him anyway for doing his own private investigation to confirm the goings-on between the Customs folks and the illegal smugglers of commodities across the land borders of Nigeria.

This is obvious and that is one reason that made me to decide that even if they sell that evil rice at #1/bag, I and my loved ones won't buy.

A lot of the importers whose rice loads were seized were made poor and wretched.

We already know this, we were just waiting for evidence and Fisayo has provided this evidence.


Every custom officer has a pot-belly. All of them are corrupt from top to bottom. Criminals and thieves.

But Tinubu appointed the biggest smuggler among them Adewale Bashir as Custom's Comptroller-General. Mr Wale was recommended by IBD Dende, the most dangerous and richest smuggler of all kinds of goods, including drugs and ammunitions in the SW.
