While the idea of equal representation is commendable, this bill may not be the best solution as it could potentially limit the democratic process and disregard the qualifications and merits of candidates from these regions.

Of truly it is about merit then you should have no fear as all regions have equally qualified candidates to rule this country. These candidates from the regions who have ruled can still wait their turn. Anybody scared of this bill does not want power rotation but wants power to remain in one tribe. Stop talking about merit as if it isn’t in all geopolitical regions.

This bill is an antidote to marginalization. It will bring unity, peace and sense of belonging to the people. After all, no zone has a monopoly of knowledge on how to govern.
