Medical Directors in UK are usually not doctors but hospital administrators, NON DOCTORS! But their hospitals function better (and by far) than ours! This nonsense rigidity that you people enjoy promoting has not gotten us anywhere and will never get is anywhere.
Minister of Health Australia Mark Butler is a Lawyer, he took over from Katherine Ruth Gallagher, she studied political science, the one she took over from studied economics and the one before him was a lawyer. Let's get our priorities right in Nigeria, fixing the health care sector is not by appointing doctors as health ministers, that is a political and an administrative position!

You quoted few countries out of the thousands available and you think they are doing the right things . Don't go around defending what is not cool!...! A very good example is our football organizations being headed by people that don't even know the size of a pitch and you expect football to developed here .
