Send soldiers to their people. People who speak the same language with them. There will be understanding. A northern soldier cum Muslim sees anyone from South as an infidel who doesn't deserve to share oxygen with him. He is not concerned about keeping peace but exterminations of the people.

They are the ones dominating in the military. There are just too many Northern elements in the Nigerian Army.

RIP to them. But this has really proven that the military hierarchy always send mostly northern soldiers to Southern Nigeria because of the relative peace we have here and will in turn pack our brothers to their terrorist infested area to be sluttered in cold blood.

The murder of the soldiers is a loss that should be condemned by all.

The military should use intelligence to arrest the culprits.

Burning down houses of innocent people can be compared to a woman who saw a mosquito on her husband's penis while he was sleeping naked and she used a hammer to hit the penis in order to kill the mosquito.
That is the method Israel should have used in Palestine, not killing indiscriminately

So sad

But where was the Nigerian police?

How come the police weren't called upon first?

There's no reported case of external aggression, so why was the military the first to get there instead of the police?

Is the Nigerian military now trained to settle community issues?

No one is asking these pertinent questions.

While we condemn these acts, this could have been avoided.

Our military is now getting too involved in acts that are under the purview of the Nigerian police force.

Very true, but the gross failure of NPF can't be overlooked as well
