Senator Uba Sani @ubasanius

In the name of Allah the Beneficient, the Most Merciful, I wish to announce that our Kuriga school children have been released.

Our special appreciation goes to our dear President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for prioritizing the safety and security of Nigerians and particularly ensuring that the abducted Kuriga school children are released unharmed. While the school children were in captivity, I spoke with Mr. President several times. He shared our pains, comforted us and worked round the clock with us to ensure the safe return of the children.

Special mention must also be made of our dear brother, the National Security Adviser, Mal. Nuhu Ribadu for his exemplary leadership. I spent sleepless nights with Mal. Ribadu finetuning strategies and coordinating the operations of the security agencies, which eventually resulted in this successful outcome.

The Nigerian Army also deserves special commendation for showing that with courage, determination and commitment, criminal elements can be degraded and security restored in our communities.

We also thank all Nigerians who prayed fervently for the safe return of the school children. This is indeed a day of joy. We give Almighty Allah all the glory.

Senator Uba Sani,
Governor, Kaduna State.
March 24th, 2024.

Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai @B_ELRUFAI

Alhamdullilah. His Excellency, Senator @UbaSaniUs has just announced that each and every one of the school children kidnapped in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area have been released. He expressed his appreciation to our President and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, @officialABAT. The Governor also emphasised the key role played by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam @NuhuRibadu. Kudos to the brave men and women of the Nigerian Army. We must now do everything to ensure this does not happen again. The introduction of State Police will certainly be a good start.

The timely release of the Kuriga-287 school children demonstrates a fresh beginning in the country’s security collaboration. It provides reassurance to the general public regarding the firm dedication of the President and the proficient capabilities of the National Security Adviser.

Kudos to President Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and NSA, Nuhu Ribadu 🙌

16 kidnapped in Sokoto released, 287 kidnapped in Kaduna released. President Tinubu na man you be. These bandits must go down, all of them. According to Senator Yar'adua, there are over 30,000 bandits scattered all over northern forests. The number is scary.

Good news I must say.
Unfortunately, details of how they finally regained freedom were not provided.
I hope we are not going to hear very soon of mass abductions like this anymore.

But, how come the word 'IPOB', has a way of coming into every news in this country?
Even as sweet as this news sounds some elements are making a sentimental statement already.

Thank goodness, they were rescued safely if no senseless negotiations were entertained. However a strong message must be passed to these bastard terrorists otherwise it is the same vicious cycle all over.

Yes, it's good news they were released. Still, there's a lot that is left unsaid.

Firstly, they were "released" not freed. Which means whoever kidnapped them let them go.

Also, the statement makes no mention of the kidnappers and whether they were killed, or caught and handed over to the authorities.

Which only points to one thing; ransom was paid.

If you don't get to the root of a problem, it will continue to reoccur.

Thank God they are back,I hope no child was left behind.I don't even want to imagine the trauma the parents have been through for the past two weeks and more.

Our security agents should please ensure that things like this do not happen again,we need to be proactive in our approach to security .

Uba Sani

Develop your state, the schools at Kuriga were an eyesore when it was televised on national TV.
Go and look for manufacturing companies to come to Kaduna, and set up, provide gainful employment.
Start and complete projects.
Sharing palliatives like someone running for office is dismal and mediocre.
Look at other governors in the South and the East and the North Central.
Bring development to Kaduna state.
The only time we hear everybody's voice in Kaduna state is when there is trouble.
Facilitate a Digital Agric Coop board, 22% corn in Nigeria and 15% groundnuts produced in kaduna state. Facilitate storage and price regulation to the other 35 states. You serve as a government buffer. So that you can help the small farmers negotiate a better deal by bulk purchase and price regulation.
Bring a big developmental project to kaduna state , then invite sheikh gumi and the president to commission it.

Gumi has done nothing wrong. He has been called for questioning so many times.

Unlike that Nnamdi Kanu and that Sunday Igboho calling for war against the Nigerian state is unacceptable tongue
