The battle between Initiative for Global Advocacy (IFGA) Lagos became tensed as the managing Director of Eko Electricity distribution Company (EKDC) Tinuade Sanda has always avoided meetings with the foremost Advocacy group in their quest to ensure that Electricity power supply return to the Ibeju Lekki areas of Lagos State Nigeria after four and half years of perennial no Electricity supply to the area.

In response to initiative for Global Advocacy (IFGA) several publications on the subject matter the Chairman of initiative for Global Advocacy (IFGA) has at some point accused the management of Eko Electricity distribution Company (EKDC) of servicing in efficiencies and corruption in a Stakeholders Town Hall meeting organised by Eko Electricity distribution Company (EKDC) in August 2023 at Mambilah Hotel, Abijoh In Ibeju Lekki Lagos, where the management of Eko Electricity distribution Company (EKDC) became uncomfortable, they called off the meeting and resolves to avoiding the Advocacy group.
