castrogee: Well, Ariaria is a very large market. One of the largest in Nigeria. All kinds of things are sold there Meanwhile, the project is a PPP. Shop owners pay ahead of reconstruction and the govt also fulfills it's part of the financial obligations. It's a very large project. To reconstruct over 40,000 shops. But the rate of progress is damn slow. They've been at this single phase since around 2021. |

Even in developed climes, govt take responsibility of govt props by having supervisory & maintenance workers who do the job.
