Now the government is removing subsidy and we are now at the mercies of these Discos We will be paying huge amount of money for darkness

Jst go back to the GEJ/dizani Gas master plan or modify it abit. Create a gas pipeline systems to all states in Nigeria and give the governors right to create states independent power generating system, jst like alot of estates in Lekki side of lagos that have 247 electricity.

Instead of the gas wasting and being flared daily creating global warming for Nigeria, we put the gas to use, and every state/ citizens have 247 power, whereby using the air-condition to overcome the too much heat during the dry season.

The gas is free being flared, lands we have abundantly, fund to run the projects are also available through either loans or cutting down looting.

Once u fixed the above, the cost of electricity will crash down automatically.

Well, the only way to maintain subsides was to force the increase in taxation of GDP , and even that won';t guarantee any profitability in the power sector.
