But if the Nigerian government made that same statement, people like you will be up in arms and claim the Nigerian government is evil and authoritarian. Some will even demand that the military should take over.

Arise TV will run programs upon programs over at least 2 weeks bringing a long array of publicity-hungry 'experts' to denounce the government and proclaim we are under the most anti democratic government since 1872.

However, if a foreign government (especially if they have a lighter skin than you) make such statement, you will praise that foreign government as you did in your statement.

Inferiority complex.

In Nigeria Aminu would be forgiven for posting but Ifeanyi would be prosecuted.
No country will grow that way and no people will support assumed oppressors unlike Dubai where everyone is equal but then you guys act like you don’t know, self deceit grin grin

"No country is perfect", I believe but what has Nigeria gotten to an average level before, before you start defending rotten system that cuts across all boards in the country??!!!

Election process trust= 0
Poverty= 109 out of 125 countries & 133million plus multi-dimensional poverty out of 200 million population.
Education= 20 millions+ out of school children
Inflation =33%
Minimum wage=N30k
Forgery = Your N0 1 citizen is a case study
Governance= very low, no positive effects.
Corruption = 99% plus
Hunger = 99%

I'm not a praise singer like you paid online lots, Oga.
Well, keep spreading propaganda, at least you can be paid at month-end.

In your own capacity what have you done or doing to make a change?

Disgracing your country before foreigners won't make them pity you and take you as their citizen neither will they come rule over your country for you. Channel that energy into helping the government to achieve better Nigeria that will work for all of us.
If you can't do that coz you spite the government, at least pray for the country!!!! Genuinely pray for the country

Dubai wants tell the whole world they can control the weather through Cloud Seeding...But God disappoint them.

Cloud Seeding equals to Heavy tornados plus heavy rainfall.

Wow! It’s funny how we abide by laws abroad but the opposite back home.

If it was the Nigerian minister who said this, the social media would be very hot right now cheesy

NIGERIA should enact and enforce such law. Some people derive pleasure in been derogatory towards Nigeria

It's not derogatory to oppress innocent citizens but it's derogatory for the oppressed to cry out?

It's your wish leaders continue to oppress while everyone fall down and worship them.

It's only in Nigeria you see oppressed people troop out to defend their oppressors.

I don't blame the evil ones leading, I blame the citizens who keep enabling them.

Nigerians are a kind of breed that are hard to understand.

Please stop comparing Nigeria government with Dubai. Do we get the same treatment like citizens in Dubai. No good road, No Light, No education, No good health facilities, No social welfare e. t. c
Everyday i pass the road to my house i course Nigerian government. All we ask for is good living condition or is that too much as a citizen.

Obviously they don't want other countries to see that bad things happen in their country.

It is only in Nigeria that you will see a Nigerian goes online badmouthing his country before foreigners, making his country a laughing stock. I wonder where patriotism is

No country is perfect but Nigerians think it is only Nigeria that is bad.

Maybe not only Nigeria but we get the point.

From the peeps calling Nigeria a zoo to along 'ndi saner climes' or the ones that see every opportunity to bash Nigeria & Nigerians online.

If not that the Government themselves are useless, they should be able to enact such laws here.

A lot of people badmouth their country online. It's kind of amusing to see.

Between an authoritarian father who provide food, cloth and shelter
Take care of health
Pay your school fees
Yet restrict your actions and movements.

Or a Father
Who does not care where your next meal come from, whether you are clothed or naked or where you spend the night.
But comes home implements inconsequential rules that is copied from other fathers who has done the needful.

Which one would you choose?
Choose wisely 2m NGN are watching wink

Now that's a lesson to Nigerians who thrive and bliss in slandering the image of their country because of politics. If you find it easy denigrading the image of your country, then you're one of the major destroyer of the said country.

The continuous cycle of corrupt politicians leading and those who have taken it upon themselves to blindly defend them no matter what are the ones denigrating the country, not the helpless, impoverished citizens crying for a better Nigeria.

You seems to have lost the context of this discussion. How are bad leaders equal to Nigeria? I like it more when citizens drag bad leaders.
My point is that those insulting Nigeria, calling the Country names should be charged under appropriate laws. You can call out bad leaders without denigrating the Country

Nigeria is a neutral entity, anything said of it many times, is directed at the people who make up the country.
If I say America is corrupt country, I'm only referring to the people in it.
We're all the ones soiling the name of our country. If we live right, the country will be well spoken of, same way.

You forgot the self accredited metrics czars that would then populate the web with dubious statics listing top ten Nations in the world for Social Media Vlogers restrictions and placing Nigeria in first position. The page would then miraculously end up on Niraland where the usual suspects would then respond with "Nigeria is always top at bad things".
