From time to time, I try to initiate a conversation that just packs up in a cul de sac. Frustrated, I deleted her media and contacts. The confusing part now is that during Christmas, Easter, salah, she would text me out of the blues with a message that isn't a broadcast. I don't even get those texts from those I frequently converse with it so it's raising my eyebrows

Is her objective to get a gift out of me, or is it regular Islam tradition to greet all and sundry on your contacts during major celebrations?
