There is nothing wrong in using the reserves to defend the naira. Afterall that is one of the purpose of having reserves. All opec members are doing it, Russia is doing it, virtually all African nations are doing it, even Asian tigers did it from 1991 to 2010. So what stupid point is cardoso trying to prove that they are not defending the naira. In other words you have gone back to free float, the same free float that led to 1800 a dollar

Eliminate banditry and highway kidnapping so that business activities can thrive without fear on the Nigerian roads. Rather we have a barbarian government consolidating the mishap that befell Nigeria between 2015-2023.
