Decent effort. Though as a gamer i must add the frame-rate is pretty poor. Don't think it's from ur screen record app cos the other parts ran smoothly. Could also be the hardware it was being ran on is crap Graphics could be better, and there's less than ten seconds of gameplay footage in the clip! #justsaying P.S. What engine does it run on? |

@ritchboy, thanks men, points noted, As regards graphics, from inception, we realised we didn't have the budget or manpower to go the whole hog(as wit most indie titles), Producing AAA type graphics is simply beyond us at this time, So we get our targets on the stylised simple graphics u see in the video We also wanted to ensure the game runs on as many systems as possible(Naija is our major target market and most PC's don't have the latest Nvidia or ATI graphics cards), hehe, no disrespect(some of our own no get sef) But thanks all the same, we all hope this leads to better things in future and we can afford to do things better, |
Re: Titi Tilapia: Nigeria's First Computer Game: Gameplay Video by TitiTilap1(f): 8:58pm On Dec 21, 2011 |
@ritchboy and 2buff Again thanks for noticing the framerate issue, we checked it out and realised once we started recording any DirectX application, it's slowed the in-game framerates, Lesson? your right, We will definitely be using a much better system for any future screen caps, Abeg 6 Gbosa for una, Gbosa, Gbosa, Gbosa, Gbosa, Gbosa, Gbosa, Lol Seriously though, thanks guys , constructive criticism rocks |

@omo_to_dun Hey hey, For those asking for my DEMO release on SPLIT ASSASSIN GAME, I guess that's a good point. If I release the DEMO on Christmas day, I hope that would be ok. Here is a snapshot of another little game I created for fun. The LENS FLARE is good, some reflection, the clouds move and has a SUN effect in the scene. You fly this shiny kettle that has a propeller. The physics is well simulated too. Just a sharp play stuff, For those that want to learn how to make games, I can help you out. SPLIT ASSASSIN was created in VISUAL BASIC, and I used ANIM8OR to build the models. Why don't we create a joint concept, you suggest, I build and you can also send some of your 3D models if you make some too, Shola.vb.net

Some People Just be bad belle! The Problem with development in Nigeria is this "crabs in a bucket Mentality", Instead of supporting a noble effort-flawed as it may ne- One person don dey claim say na him be first. What does it matter who released their game first? Just do quality work and people will applaud u for it, there is enough room for everyone to shine bros! |

Hiya titi fans, unfortunately during recent tests we discovered we would have bandwith issues if we went along with launching the demo tomorrow, This support and intrest we have gotten has been overwhelming, we really appreciate, We want to ensure that you can all enjoy the demo fully on release, (We are looking into several hosting options for the demo) To this end, the demo launch will now be on the 4th of January 2012, We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, Watch Out for some brand new wallpapers tonight, Una too much, |

New Year Cliqr Hint; Playing Cliqr is like your experience while making soup; you test and decide. Your goal is to be one of (or all of) the 16th to 20th persons to click. To achieve this; - Test click i.e. click once to see what position the game is in. When you do this, you`ll get a message telling you the position of the game. -Use this information as the key. Don`t click again if it’s not close to the 16th position, but if it is… “Free Cake”. You can also create your own hint and share it with others on our page on facebook, (mocliq.mobi). Happy New Year!!!!------------------------------------------------www.mocliq.mobi |

Have given the game a go. There're alot of issues with quality of this game. Some which I'd mentioned on the Titi-tilapia forum, however i'm rather curious, to the developers of this game: Who exactly is your (primary) target audience of this game ? |

Here is a link to the post with the demo launch announcement https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-839118.0.html , We would really appreciate if the moderators made that thread sticky and if possible bumped it to the Nairaland frontpage. Would also help encourage young Nigerians and give the effort some attention, Thanks |

just a question @titi tilapia. what game engine are you using or did you write one from scratch? |
Re: Titi Tilapia: Nigeria's First Computer Game: Gameplay Video by Maximip(m): 12:44pm On Jan 06, 2012 |
Finally, played the game. it's technically very impressive but the fun factor is low. I'm a big fan of simple fun games, bejeweled, zuma, angry birds, etc. |

@Titi-Tilapia, seriously you guys need a game-usability expert on your team. not just game testers. It's been a few days after release-day, i feel it would be advantageous if the Lead Producer (or someone acting as head of the team) posted regular updates on your site-blog or something at least to give players some sense of a "roadmap" as to future updates of this game. |

Super Cliqr Hint: Whenever you place between 11th and 15th position, you still can win by clicking through 11th to 15th and loosing N12.5 and then clicking through 16th to 20th and gaining N60. You should play N5 win N50 to understand the game better and note that this method works for every category but you must loose before you gain, therefore you must have NGN to lose first before gaining for this strategy to work. www.mocliq.mobi |
