Let no one come& start negotiating for a compromise of maybe N80 or N100 o,its either back to status quo or d new price remains bc none of those transporters & others that increased prices will revert to d status quo if any increase is allowed to stay.If Obj wt his military background& better intellect can b made to reverse some of his bad policies, who is this dullard to rule it over us

You may help with that by joining the protest instead of cheering from the fence. I believe it is about time politicians start taking us serious. If you guys do this well, I promise to start a similar stuff in Ghana. Politicians need to hear some sense,

Oil Subsidy, the fact is “we are subsidising West-Africa Nations”, not only Nigeria, people should see through these sentiments. If we are planning not now,  probably in the future,  to have economic integration with ‘WA Nations’ we have to be selling our Petroleum Products,  goods, and services at competitive rates,  that is at the same rate across board otherwise we would be doomed as a nation like Greece.

Subsidising every country from Benin Republic in our immediate West of Nigeria,  to Mauritania in the far North West of West Africa is a suicidal pact with the devil which we should shy and run away from no matter the hardship.

Monkey dey work baboon dey chop!!! undecided

Someone should stand in and coordinate the protests fast else it will die down soon, Someone needs to keep the crowd up. If this protest succeeds in getting naija to remove the subsidy, I think Ghana can also do it.
Re: Fuel Subsidy Removal Protest Going On In Lagos? by muami(m): 12:13pm On Jan 03, 2012
If NLC wants us to believe that they have all the answers to Nigeria's problems, then I think the best example they can provide is to show us the wonders that Adams Oshiomole has performed in Edo state. Otherwise, they should keep quiet!
By the way, all the so called protests are in ACN controlled states so we know it is political and would not last

Issues arising, Hope GEJ is prepared for the issues ahead cos i expected his Government to figure out other ways to raise funds rather than the subsidy removal, personally i think GEJ should have been more proactive with solutions. I think the Government has not really owned up regarding the way monies were spent in the last few months.

Wön't call that a protest for now atleast, not until heads starts rolling. Then i'll know we're serious, yes i know wat u're gonna say, don't just ask me to offer mine, Nigerians don't deserve it, too timid and life cherishing fun loving people, there must be a sacrifice, buh who's willing to pay?
