SW has been working CLOSELY with Hausa/Fulani from 1967. They enjoyed hidden power sharing until Jonathan showed up (by sheer luck), and started to shake things up to favor everybody. Now they are protesting.

The true enemies of the SS/SE are gradually revealing themselves. By fomenting division/hatred btw the SS/SE, these enemies had a field day usurping resources that do not belong to them.

I dont know of any so-called closeness shared by yoruba and hausa which isnt also shared by hausa and other tribes including igbo.

There arent more hausa in the sw than there are elsewhere in the south.

d governors a well to do nigerians in the south should send busses with armed to d teeth men to evacuate their citizens from d north. Instead of protestin against subsidy removal, southeners should protest against sending of southern youth corpers, police offices and other federal agents to the north. As for northern christains, they are always welcome to the south.
Imagine what would have happend if islam had not come into 9ja, if northeners had stuck to thier african traditional religion, i m sure all these wont be happening.

As provoking as these killings of Christians in the North are, l am a SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN and my position is this:

"Let your Light so shine so that "men of this world" will give glory to your father (and religion) in Heaven".
*[size=14pt]If we Christians Southerners start killing Muslims or Northerners in our midst, that means we are no better, if not even worse than the people we condemn.[/size]
*Let us know that those in the South (Muslims & Northerners) are INNOCENT [/b]of those killings in the North! (They may be sympathetic of their tribalism and religious fanaticism but they are not guilty of killing).
*Only harm those who [b]harm you directly, even if you find it difficult to forgive! In these regard, Muslims and Northerners in the South are not guilty and should be left o live in peace down south, if they so desire.

As for Christians and Southerners up North:
1.) try to relocate down south. I know how difficult it is to up-root yourslef from the life and environment you know all your life but LIFE IS MOST IMPORTANT.
We Christians in the South should also find a way of making their relocation as painless as possible;
Can we set up a fund for them? Can we provide them with our accommodation for six months to one year ? (as for me, l have unfinished twin-duplex accommodation, decked, that l am willing to offer any relocating Christian, for at least one year.)
2.) Can our church leaders organize the brethren to assist with Transport fare or even buses/Trailers since some want to leave but the share cost of relocation is daunting to them!

3.)Can we re-assure them that we are willing to buy and donate food so they can have something to eat while they settle down here? Do we have farms that we can put them to work or do we have arable land that those who are farmers can cultivate and at least earn their living? Can we donate spare clothes to them when they come down?
Everything is"planning" and we cant keep insulting them for not coming down, down to what?
We need CONCRETE ASSISTANCE TO THEM.


For our Christian brothers up North:
*Your own case is very different; That place is your HOME. You're being persecuted for your faith and it is very sad that we have a President who have failed in his primary duty of protecting the live of any Nigerian on this soil. We have Security apparatus which have failed us and their re-assurances (including that of the President!) turns out to be a death sentence!
How then can we trust the President and his Government, on subsidy?

*My suggestion is that you adapt to the changing environment, for now.
*Dont gather to worship in large numbers, God is everywhere and can be worshiped everywhere, even in your bedroom.
*Contact each other and pray over the phone or use video Networks like Skype, Yahoo Messenger, e.t.c. The motivation to do you harm is multiplied many-fold, if you gather in large numbers. Large gathering should be impromptu and communicated at the last minute.
*Set up a few "security apparatus" within the church and your environment: By now, CCTV, with motion activation and Perimeter Microwave Beams should be a must for all churches in the North. Install Bollards some meters from church entrance to prevent a car ramming into your church/house.
I am a Practitioner in these areas and l am willing to render help, in identification, purchase, set-up/installation and monitoring FOR FREE, if consulted.
The advantages are many:
-Video evidence can capture faces of perpetrators.
-It can show us their mode of operation.
-It can lead us to the "big fishes" behind the curtains.
-It can alert us when they are planting their bombs or even when they are doing "surveillance" and we can nip it in the bud before it happens.
-We can also assist the clueless Security Network with those evidence, if they can figure-out how to use them.
-It can also serve as a deterrence for would be "soft-targets".

*Since God would not come down in person, ARM YOURSELF AND PROTECT YOUR FAMILY: Dont attack them but if they come for you, in your house, Fight them like King David did and God will surely give you victory.
*Form Vigilante groups, conduct emergency response procedure and do/train your children and family members on "Drills" (escape routes, rat holes, fire fighting, self defense, Bush-survival tactics, e.t.c), you never know when it will come-in handy!

*Stay calm at all times, panic paralyzes the brain and makes swift action impossible! Be alert and curious, leave nothing to chance. Be wary of strangers- Dont even let non-christian "friends" case-you-out for others.

We will keep you in our prayers and if you need help, just shout. Know that as Christians, we do not discriminate against you based on your ethnic origin, we are all children under one God.
Let your life of love be an example for those that hate you but be Vigilant.

@last page this is the smartest thing i ve ever read on nl. Killing northeners down south is just shedding innocent blood. And u are right CAN, churches, southerners, southern governors should start raising funds and making arrangement for southward migration of christain brethen. They should ignore fuel subsidy and focus on this. They should also protest against sending southern youth corpers, and federal workers to north. Not all northern dwellers are there at will.
