The Presidency of GEJ is probably the most challenged Presidency in Nigeria history, even though his election was the most fair and transparent in the history of Nigeria. In other words, the concept of democracy itself in Nigeria is under attack primarily by the islamic group boko haram via violence and undue protest over subsidies.

The question now is why hasn't their been a suicide attack in the North on protesters by Boko Haram whilst innocent travelers heading back to their region could be targeted and killed?  The answer is simple, opponents of democracy and contenders to the Presidency of GEJ are both the sponsors and organizers of violent boko haram killings and boko haram subsidies protest via incitement and indoctrination.

The big idea is to destabilise Nigeria and make the country ungovernable for President Goodluck Ebele Jonanthan as promised by Presidential candidate General Buhari/Bakare. IBB has been targeted by the sect and that is no mistake as he is blamed by the Buhari camp (core North) for allowing power to slip to the South.

All the violence so far seem to be centered on Buhari and as a former Army general/head of state, he is well experienced to lead such insurgence using his military connection within the Nigeria Armed Forces. Boko Haram as an organisation has Nigeria Army written all over it, even in a recent youtube publication the boko haram chief was wearing Nigeria Army body Armour.

Reform of the armed forces and conscription should be a matter of urgency. A quota system should be put in place to end over representation of any ethnicity at all levels in the Armed Forces both on Officers and Soldiers level. Armory should be dispensed to the southern regions not just Kaduna in the North.

Pro-active, Bold, Strong and Responsible Leadership is all Nigerians are asking for and need to see from President/Commander in Chief Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. That means, no going back on Fuel Subsidies or giving in to boko haram killers.

Whatever happens GEJ must not revert prices to 65 if his Presidency is to worth anything. All Presidents of Nigeria and strong and he must not be seen to be weak.

All across the eas, people are going about their normal activities and the south with the exception of banks being closed. Why should the Southwest and North hold Nigeria hostage for oil they don't produce?
