Some Pertinent QUESTIONS

1. Why is the Governor of Borno State, Yobe State and other hot spots of Boko Haramic activities still drawing allowances from the centre. Surely there can be no meaningful development in such places except of course shearing of money and if thorougly investigated and that money is followed through to its logical end, I would not be surprised if it became clear that some of the money actually oils the wheel of progress of the Boko Haram forces. So indirectly the FG whether we like it or not is sponsoring Boko Haram by paying this idle, jobless, and inept Governors who are sitting down and just shearing money that is not democracy, that is more like pampering a prodigal son.  cool

2. Can the good citizens of NL imagine the calibre of officers drawing salaries, wages and other emoluments from the state Goverment for doing virtually nothing, all those like 800 special advisers, special assitants and personal assistants. undecided

3. What of the Security votes for these State, I hope the Federal authorities have stop given those idle Governors free money,  after all the brave men of our armed forces, immigration, customs and the police force are the ones feeling the brunt of all the anguish and inferno of Boko Haram. I happen to be close to the British Army and all soldiers back from 'the theatre' gets a mandatory non taxable £5,000.00 distress allowances for going to Afghanistan that is besides their salaries. The Security Vote of these states should given to the men and women doing a good job for Nigeria in those States. It would not only motivate them, it would energise their dedication to the job.

4. What of those free loaders in the State House of Assmbly, I personally cannot see any meaningful law that can be passed in a war zone, all those folks should be sent home until the security situtation gets better. cool

5. Same thing the LG Chairmen. cool
