Pros And Cons Of A Divided Nigeria: by Madamot: 9:30am On Jan 22, 2012
Dear Nairalanders, I would love us to discuss objectively, without insults and personal agendas, the benefits, political, economic, social etc of a divided Nigeria. Let us look at this from both the internal advantages of each new 'country' and very importantly, also on the international scene. The direction our dear country has been heading in the last few years makes this scenario something that may be staring us in the face and which we will have to deal with perhaps sooner than later. A look at the pros and cons of such eventuality will prove to be a very useful exercise in that it will clarify the consequences of such division, both good and bad and enable people to have better information upon which to have a quality opinion devoid of sentiment and prejudice .
