People like this Prof  has clearly benefited immensely from Nigeria oil wealth under Northern supervision and presently a trusty in danjuma foundation, are lobbying the American President to abstain from whatever human rights violation going on in Nigeria. He shouldn't get involved. Isn't that funny coming from people that go around the world instituting regime change via allegations of weapons of mass destruction and human rights abuses?

Well, when genocide takes place in Nigeria, we can expect them not to get involved.

United States President, Mr. Barrack Obama has been warned over the involvement of the United States of America (USA) in Boko Haram's matter.

Professor Jean Herskovits, a professor of History at the State University of New York who gave the warning in New York yesterday also warned the United States not to allow itself to be drawn into this quicksand by focusing on Boko Haram alone.

She stressed that the White House is already seen by many Northern Muslims in Nigeria, including a large number of long time admirers of America, as biased toward a Christian President from the South and noted that the United States must work to avoid a self-fulfilling prophecy that makes us their enemy.

The university don warned President Barrack Obama that placing Boko Haram on the foreign terrorist list would cement such views and make more Nigerians fear and distrust America.

Professor Herskovits added that many Nigerians already believe that the United States unconditionally supports Mr. Jonathan's government, despite its failings and noted that they believe this because the White House praised the April elections that international observers found credible, but which some Nigerians, especially those in the north, did not.
