I'm intrigued by what style is and was wondering what might be other people's take on it. So share with me your thoughts. What is style in your own words?

To me style means looking as attractive as possible in your own way.

Style is an expession of oneself. It isn't about looking "good" per se.

Personal style varies greatly from person to person. What we appreciate in others differs as well.
There are some styles that are generally appealing to everyone though and some are just plain ratchet

Style is a discerning eye for flattering pieces that will complement the wearer. The stylist knows how to assemble these pieces in a way that creates harmony. Style generates a tinge of envy or awe from people who recognize it.
