Please on no account must anyone in his/her right senses abuse any religion just because he/she doesn't understand a particular concept in that religion. Eid el-Maulud is marked yearly in commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who was born in 570 AD in Mecca.

For Muslims, the lessons of Maulud lie in the message of peace, truthfulness, faithfulness and eschewing all forms of vice preached by the prophet.

Maulud holiday is a national holiday. It does not just start this year. This has not called for exchange of grenades folks. Easy Easy.

eid l maulud is for the marking of prophet Muhammad's birthday which is 12th of robiu al awal of the lunar months.if this day is not given it's another offence for the Muslims as the five days each for christian and Muslims related holiday will not be met .it's fair.
