When you bury 50000 in two months, lose 2 million in 30 months, given 20 pounds after destruction of all your investments and biz, marginalized and denied a place in the political sphere. When you are humiliated for self determination and derided for ever having the stomach to chart your cause. When you experience madalla bomb and have your people annually roated. When you have your group balkanized and your land given away to other states. When the Govt of the day uses quota and bogus census to edge you out, when you have lived in your own country and used your own currency for 3 yrs. When you have your properties declared abandon and your gpeople recieve the least allocation due to bogus stats. When you, in all honesty, know that your future and fate will be served in a nation founded under a common belief that is rooted in equality, justice, hardwork, religious free Govt, Extremism free state, and peace, Then you'll know why some people want out. |

Mr poster, do you live in Nigeria? When is the last time you have been to Nigeria? On the surface, everything is nice but you need to look deeper. Do your own research, tabulate merits and demerits and state your conclusion here. NOTE: these are not merits; diversity is our strength We have been together for so long There will be war if we split We are the largest black african nation The future is bright 'Only' corruption is our problem, once we deal with that, its eden. And all that BULL.S.HIT |

werepeLeri:Most diasporans see Nigeria as united and peaceful(it is) except for some sporadic violence and corruption. Nothing the security forces can't handle if they really want to do it. Reality is far different. There are fundamental flaws inherent in the structure of Nigeria. We are yoked with people whose ideology for something usually taken for granted, progress and development,is non-existent and infact despised. We have every right for self determination in situations like this. That's why we either split or at least self govern our regions. To mould as we see fit. |
