There is palpable fear in the homestead of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, over his failing health.

Information reaching us has it that the heavy weight politician has been in a very unhealthy condition for some time and that the situation was being managed by medical experts, only for the condition to get worse last week.

The worsening health condition was what informed his being rushed to England for a better and more intensive medical attention.

He was flown abroad on Wednesday February 8 2012. Sources attribute the cause of his present state to a partial stroke.

Close source divulged to us that the incident 'left him bedridden'. Sources claimed 'he was shielded from seeing visitors at his Ikoyi home since the happenstance transpired-till he was flown abroad'.

It is believed that the secrecy that pervades the state of health of the powerful personality is meant to protect his political and business empire.

We shall keep you posted as events unfold

Upon all our money that he has been stealing, he couldn't create a world class facility for himself at LASUTH, which he practically owns, just because he would have to share it with the rest of us. Well, his predicament shows that he is not a god, and that God Almighty has been hearing our cries for justice over the nefarious activities of this man. Lord, there are still more of them, even here on Nairaland, people like Eko-Ile, Seanet02, Gbawe and others who defend the sickening actions of their false god here. Father in Heaven, please help us deal with them, even as they are dealing with the common man in Nigeria. Fashola, Aregbesola, Amosun and Ajimobi must not escape your wrath, O Lord. Please O Lord, deal with them, even as they continue to deal with the people they're supposed to be leading by denying them and their children educational opportunities that existed before they came into office. As they deny the people free health care, O Lord, deny them access likewise, to the quality healthcare they run abroad to with our money everytime they sneeze. Father, as they oppress the poor, oppress them right back, O Lord. As they deny the children of the poor access to higher education, Father, please ensure that their own children WASTE their opportunities for higher education and become useless to themselves and their thieving parents, In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!!

This is a lesson for all those Politicians who just love to acquire everything for themselves and their families. At the last count Tinubu owns probably 2/3 of all the prime lands in Lagos, he has a posh Hotel and his wife, niece, nephew are all in comfortable positions in both in the State and at the Federal Level. Has his perchance to acquire stop him from falling sick, if he dies today(God Forbid) would he take all these his worldly booty and possession to heaven or hell depending on his faith and conduct whilst on Earth, the answer is capital NO.

That is why it is good to give back to where you have taken from, six world class hospital in a City like Lagos would not and should not be seen as too much, London,  a City smaller than Lagos in Population has more than 20 top Hospitals the size of Luth and each of these Hospitals employs nothing more than 3,000 people, you do the maths, that multitude of people in gainful employment would suck the huge horde of unemployment we have in Lagos. But Tinubu and his cohorts would prefer to commandeer all the prime lands in Lekki, Ikoyi and Banana Island for himself and his band of glut tonic rogues than give back to the land.

A lesson for the ones coming after Tinubu, Messers  Fashola, Aregbesola,  Ajimobi, Fayemi, Amosun, Oshimolue and others not mentioned please take note, power is transient and it is very important you people give back to the land.  cool

And I hope this scare would make Tinubu a better man, he would realise that our lives are like smoke, one minute we are here, the next we are no more here.

Sickness is a humbling moment for both the sick and the 'healthy'. It's a certain reminder of death which is the surest part of life. And for the discerning, it's an opportunity to mend one's ways and address one's mistakes. Death, however, does not give this opportunity for redress except to the living.

Bola Tinubu, like all mortals has his
list of issues which this incident, if true, should give him the opportunity to address, if he chooses to. On this note, I wish him well and pray for his recovery.
