We still another central midfielder to give a solid base to this team and i hope the management is going about things properly. All these links to cuadrado and di maria make no sense when khedira and song are looking for clubs and can come for relatively little money.

elampiro: Buying Di Maria will be very okay. There's nothing too much now to save our club. Di Maria is very much different from anything we have on ground. This is a player who easily tear through the lines of the opposition beginning from midfield and into the final 3rd. Such players can single handedly win matches by the confusion they cause to opponents. He did it over and over again last season. He did it in the world cup, it's part of his game. It's not hat he's forcing it or learning it.

We just do not have the physicality needed in central midfield, there are too many shadow markers and space protectors in that area of our team AND its not even as if they are so creative and inventive with the ball when they have it (bunch of sideways passers). Also i agree with you about Khedira but it seems Bayern is after him now, so i am not sure how realistic that is.
If we are to switch to 433 or 4231 then Rooney and RVP should compete for the lone striker position and may the better man win.

The last few days of this transfer season should be really interesting if LvG actually feels this way!
