is he not a pdp member? let them sack him and he will win again and start afresh. free and fair elections indeed. the useless thing about nigeria, inec and pdp is that those found guilty by our remote controlled/toothless judicial systems face no punishments rather they enjoy the privileges of ruling for more than 8 yrs. how can ppl fraudulently move into govt house and enjoy public funds for 2 or more yrs and get sacked at the end of the day only to use their already in place machinery to win election again. by the way, how many inec officials have been arrested or jailed in all these noises. soon, our president will come out and tell nigerians that the cabals are not letting him say his mind. what a shame of a president. cabal my foot. |

Like Kaduna, Katsina, Gombe, another state CPC bungled due to their lack of organization and improper conduct at the preceding election(presidential). |

I think CPC won a few states up North, PDP just use ‘Ogboju’ or Chance them, I am sure they won Katsina, where the 3 Senators were previously CPC now changed to PDP through backdoor politics, they won Kaduna State, they won Kebbi State, and I think they probably won Bauchi and Gombe States too |

CPC is a very unorganized party. They will keep losing till they realize this fact. |

The Gov had since 2007 illegally occupying the sit cos he was the flag bearer of ANPP but barely 3 months to election his godfather defected to PDP so he need to follow suit and the constitution provides that you must be atleast 3 months in a party before you can be eligible to be a flag bearer in the party bt Obasanjo influenced the Supreme court jugdemnt and Allow the Shettiman Gwandu Alhaji Mallam Abubakar Mallam of the then DPP to wallowed in defeat and bt he his back now Under CPC which i knew he won cos the Gwandu emirate accept the shettima more than Dakingari bt with this judgement i believe it is a judgement for democracy cos Dakingari always rig election cos of the then PDP chairman Haliru Bello is frm Kebbi state. . . . . . . let us wait for the outcome of the rerun shaa |

Unfortunately, PDP will win rerun. CPC of today is not the CPC of April 2011. 1, The Buhari factor will hardly be there, because Buhari himself is not contesting any election 2, PDP has gained more grounds - being in power in the last 10 months. |

If you cheat at exams in school, do you not get punished by being suspended for some semesters, made to repeat the whole year or get rusticated even? All these politicians cheating and stealing mandates not being punished but then made to re-contest (with the influence of the wrongly-occupied post now at their disposal) does not make sense. The people that made or are making laws in Nigeria no go school or is it rocket science? |

Now hear PDP http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=78180:supreme-court-sacks-kebbi-governor-dakingari&catid=1:national&Itemid=559 Meanwhile, PDP has described the ruling as shocking. A statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Rufai Ahmed Alkali, said in as much as the party has faith in the judiciary, some of the judgments coming from the courts were worrisome. “The PDP has received with great shock the verdict of the Supreme Court, which nullified the election of Dakingari. While our faith in the judiciary remains unwavering, we are deeply concerned with the trend of judgments, some of which breed unnecessary tension and instability. Meaning We rig election, we tell our opponents not to resort to violence, but go to court Court finds against our party and we now say no, that judgment breeds "unnecessary tension and instability" How is that argument a basis for upholding an election that was rigged? So the court should ignore facts? PDP is in a class of its own when it comes to reaction to setbacks |
