Nlc Rejects Fg's 600 Mass Transit Buses by mukina2: 4:30pm On Mar 01, 2012
The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, has rejected the plan by the Federal Government to allocate additional 600 mass transit buses to labour under its Subsidy Reinvestment Programme, SURE-P, saying that the action was not a product of genuine dialogue with the congress.

Vice President of the union and Chairman Labour Transport Company, LTC, Comrade Issa Aremu who made this known said the earlier understanding was that the Federal Government would make funds available to reputable transport companies including the LTC under the SURE-P to procure vehicles and not necessarily to procure same and dump with such transporters.

Looking at this critically we are all suspicious of ourselves with holding fort for any one would you rather buy a substandard item with a loan from the bank for yourself bearing in mind you would be paying the principal and the interest or would you buy the best, for yourself it is totally unfair of someone to force you to take buses which are substandard have you entered any I have and I tell you the F.G is scaming nigerian's already the govt. is a fraud they haven't paid civil servants for 2months those that have paid have had to be authorized to use funds available to them to augument pensioners have not been paid till date Okonjo iweala has been looking and flying round the world to look for funds to run government why do you think they removed fuel subsidy in the first place we are selling crude but we are not being paid for it if the buses were good and of the required standard of the NLC they would have applied for them and not the FG foistering it on them (just my thought)

Feel nothing but pity for the motherland and her offsprings! Her supposed defenders are logically in league with her devourers! Which ever way you look at it, remitting funds to NLC or the govt, one thing is certain, large amount of money would be misappropriated!
