How To Update/run A Page Every "x" Minute Using Jquery? by deco2come: 6:17pm On Mar 02, 2012 |
I would like to know how I can update/run a database/page/ every "X" minute using jquery. For example I have a page called update.php. I would like to know how I can access this page X minute using jquery. Right now, the only method I am using is "Page Refresh". This consumes my bandwidth was is very bad. I have two pages called pageA.php and PageB.php. I want when someone excess pageA, the jquery script will access PageB.php every "X(e.g 2minutes). I will appreciate if you write the script here |

I am thinking this is a job for AJAX where on page A, Page B would be asynchronously queried. |
