With Boko Haram claiming innocent lives in Nigeria, Killings in Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Middle East Crisis, a global Nuclear and Biological weaponry threats, Mass killings in some african countries, threat of terrorism, militancy and insurgency, Natural disasters and so on; it seems that a peaceful world is a mirage? When will the world ever have peace?

Actually, the world has never been peaceful from time immemorial. So, why expect a sudden shift from turbulence to peacefulness?

World peace is impossible now or in the foreseeable future. Advanced countries have learned this. They don't bother with world peace, they maintain internal peace at any cost. That's why america will sacrifice anything for national security even destroying other countries thereby perpetuating that constant state of conflict.
I don't blame them, they only want to survive. If only Nigeria can .......

Could we possibly say that the peace keeping effort of the developed nations is a charade or a mere chase of the wind? I don't even believe that the advanced countries have internal peace! I've concluded that world peace is elusive until the world, itself, ends!!!
