This Tibetan guy desired change in his country,s polity and as such paid the ultimate price...And it got me wondering if this kind of radical activism can occur in our dear Naija.

Tibet is not an independent sovereign country yet. The man was protesting against the Chinese rule in Tibet. By the way, the peeps that fought for Nigeria's independence without setting themselves ablaze are being insulted everyday on this forum.

In addition, anybody who expresses the knack for ethnic nationalism in Nigeria is insulted and called tribal bigot.

I hear ya! Zik the pseudo-Pan Africanist with a core capitalist mentality - isn't that oxymoronic? The only thing nationalist about Zik was his greed for power, period. Didn't he run to exile in AMerica before independence? If it wasn't for Kwame Nkrumah, Zik would have remained in America. Save your junks for those who don't know nothing about Nigerian history, ok?
