Why is Easter Day Celebration not fixed like Christmas Day on 25th Dec.? This has been a disturbing question to me by some folks and friends. Anyway the bottom line is, i don't know. If you have idea on how its been checked or calculated please do share. |

The calender used to determine the date of Easter is a Hebrew calender(we use the Gregorian) so the dates do not always correlate. Also, Easter is always on a Sunday so the date is not the same each year. Meanwhile, Christmas date was pretty much picked at random as Dec 25 and has remained that way since then. |
