Please understand what you are being told. At first, you made it sound as if the money was a fee that wasn't reflected in your account. All brokers open account for free, the thing is they limit the process by setting minimum amounts you can fund the account with, if you do not have the minimum, the account won't be opened.

most brokers set minimum as high as 200k. With 7k i think anyone can afford it.
