Saying chelsea didn't perform based on their expectation is invalid


After they went trophies last two seasons everyone (arsenal,man u,man city) were expecting them to be worse.
Infact pundits were saying the title is going to be between man city man u (because of their new signings) and arsenal.
No one expected chelsea to come with so much force.

And saying the way they lost to psg was a disgrace is somehow invalid

Bloody hell the owner even promised them money if they could beat chelsea that's like giving someone drugs.
Even barca once defeated psg by playing 1-1 at home and 2-2 away (messi was injured but we are not a one man club are we?)

If u want to point out a disgraceful loss by chelsea then I think it is the match against basel when they got destroyed by salah on both legs

If mourinho didn't play cowardly at extra time maybe they would have won psg

But my point is for a club like chelsea last season was a very good performance.

Conclusions drawn from pre-season games are mostly useless. One conclusion is true though. We are going to struggle in Europe this season again.

The same problems exist. We have no midfield and this is actually all our first choice midfielders playing.

The transition of play through the middle is non-existent. Our forward play comes only through the wings and only through Hazard on the wing. Once Hazard is marked out, our attack is dead.

This is really wicked of Chelsea, u keep one awake only to play rubbish. Those pple out there are definetly not the champions of england. I don't care if its preseason or not. Since we won the league, there has been zero ambition amongst this group and its not fair to those who pay money to watch dis matches at stadium or home. Note our rivals are doing so well bar mancity. Mou better makes hay while the sun shines. Because its evident this team isn't compete yet for a full season.

To me pre season will never mean anything

Man u were defeating every one in pre-season last season even madrid

But they ended up taking arsenal facourite spot in league

Nateevs view is spot on, wonder why the team management have not seen this weakness and address it. There is no use having six wingers and only 2 are effective.
