Any time we field our second team, it doesn't matter who the opposition is, Div 1 or Div 5, we will be scrambling in first team players 15 mins to go to salvage a win or secure a replay.

It's JM's fault. His focus is a select 11 who play week in week out. Most of the subs are useless to sustain a Carling Cup run and as such are not good enough as subs in the PL. JM pays little attention to sub players and youth development yet wants these same guys to bail him out in games like these. There's no consistency with the inclusion of young players. Today Ake, tomorrow RLC, then Christensen. Who is the closest youth player to the team? Let that player feature every time. At the start of the season, we were told it was Lewis Baker, Lewis has now been sent on loan.

JM bought Salah when he could have kept T. Hazard, kept Schurrle and Ramires when he could have chosen otherwise. Jeremie Boga will have more effect on the second team than Salah. You cannot apply this sort of management and expect to get a win when you field the second team. It actually pains me to know that he knows this and that is why he keeps Hazard, Fab and Costa on the bench in silly games just in case.

This trend will continue unless things change or JM continues to be JM and plays his first 11 into the ground.

From leading 2-0 @ Stamford Bridge to losing 2-4 @ this same ground to or-di-na-ry Bradford ...
