i have a problem wit d june 30 date...dis is a period where undergraduates start their exams in most of d federal universities.in my skul,exam starts june 23..on behalf of other undergraduates,i will request a shift of date so as nt 2 affect us
since dis is our first meeting,almost everybody wld hav loved 2 b present..pls consider.

I very well understand your point. That is why it was indicated in the form that you should make suggestions remember? But only few people have returned their completed forms. So I would suggest you fill & return your own form and then indicate when u would love the meeting to be held. All the same, I would like to use this medium to also ask other interested members if they agree with july? or is there any other date suggestions, pls do make it known here so we don't keep changing plans! Thats a good suggestion too, but did u also indicated your preferred venue for zonal meeting in your completed/returned form? Meanwhile, people can as well air their view concerning the zonal venues here, so it can be discussed.

Yes, that was the initial plan, before some other people suggested the zonal stuff to minimize cost on interested members...which I had no other option than to agree cos of the cost issue, since we cannot tell how buoyant each member is at the moment, and we must carry everyone along. So what exactly are you saying please? And where are the others, pls come in here and air your opinion on this issue of venue, zonal meeting and date. cheers!

Hmm were are d rest? No nid 4 panic. U can never on earth arrive at consesus date, vanue, and time. Like my skul, ksu, we've finished our exam and to resume by 10th of next month, so u c. Let us jux secriface, indicate our zones and d zonal coordinator wil reach u all 4 d zonal meetin which should b between now til mayb 30th of next month. After Then, dailynews u should wit efect choose a date and central venue 4 the central sumit. If ur zone is sending representatives, the representatives wil jot down d general ideas of d zone. Pls lets nt b discouraged about d number we have. Honestly u & Emyo are the class & nature of people I love to associate with- so creative, innovative, amazing, ambitious, hard working, focused & determined with your goals & targets in life, pls do keep it up, u will go places believe me. Before talking about the Zonal meeting,I would suggest you first make use of the screening form or emails dropped on this thread to organise people into groups,let say Group A -Z,each group consisting of five/ten people should have a team leader that would be coodinating the activities of each group based on the directives he would be receiving from the board member[a board member to consist of seven people who share your ideas with you and passionate about the club,and also members of the board is expected to be part of the groups,and should not be appointed as a team leader in their groups].


The board should creat email address for all the groups through which information would be related across board.
The team leaders would be allowed to share ideas with the board members on programmes to be runining with their groups.

Each member of the team is expected to share his or her phone number and email address with his or her members to foster a family like relationship among members.

The boad is expected to run literary programmes with the groups to help shape an individual writer better by giving topics to write on and criticism of each work to be done by the members in each group.

And individual writer could share his work with member of his group for critisim,editing before posting on Nailaraland.

Having united the interesed members together in groups and runing programmes with them for a period of time I believe it would be more easier to call for Zonal meeting which I believe will witness a great attaendance than calling on members now to leave their comfort bedroom to journey miles.

You certainly have a wonderful idea that I love- especially the family group idea, it sounds cute & innovative to me....but the idea of groups doing editing, criticisms, etc of their works when we have not met may not be that nice, & it may as well delay & prolong the birth of this great association. Meanwhile, others should as well air the view on every idea brought up to help us reach a consensus. But don't u think the group should to to unite people & foster easy communication & inspire members to be more ambitious with our goal? Remember that delay is sometimes dangerous in certain things in life, what do u think? And thanks for the commendation....I am proud of u guys, I pray this dream becomes a reality soon!

I just thought we should develop a family bond first dinning ideas on the same table,throwing jokes together before going on this long journey.The journey migth be challenging,when we set our foot on this journey,my food might get exhaused,I might be left with an empty water vessels,I might need a cloth to warm me off the cold,I might develop a sore foot,without a family bond...nobody might be there to keep the spirit high.
