A close friend of mine who stays in abj told me the drug is able to reduce the virus to an insignificant level, how true is what I don't knw. Am still hesitant because the drug is expensive. I think 80k for full dose, though they have monthly. I heard regular intake of glucose D is also helpful, don't knw how true?

Hepatitis is liver problem caused by toxic and harmful chemicals or drugs but in some aspect of medical services hepatitis might be caused by sex tho.. When you have hepatitis your liver might stop functioning like before so there are something's you have to do to help yourself there are some food that will still be restricted for now examples of those food are beans, soya maybe milk and fish just for now. There are some food you are going to take I'm abundance examples are fruits, glucose, energy giving foods just for now but fats and proteins are a no go area now. There is a particular drug I know about called Livolin just ask of it in any hospital or pharmaceutical store nearby and tell the Pharmacist to prescribe the maximum dosage for you. And most especially regular basis of test in the hospital is required. meet your consultant at least 3 days in a week and use your drugs wisely. I wish you quick recovery IJN

How sure are you? And how is it efficacy ? Have u used it before?

Livolin forte® (LIV) is a
hepatoprotective drug that is being used in
hospitals worldwide in the treatment and
management of liver diseases. However, as it
appear through the available published literature,
the physiological effects of the drug on the liver
using a rat model of hepatotoxicity is not yet well
established. This study assessed the curative and
prophylactic effects of LIV on carbon
tetrachloride (CCl4) induced liver damage in rats.
Methods: Twenty-four adult Wistar rats were
randomly divided into four groups: group I
(normal control) received 0.3 ml/kg/day of
propylene glycol for one month; group II (toxicant
control) was given 0.7 ml/kg/day of CCl4
dissolved in olive oil (1:1, v/v) orally for 7 days;
group III received 5.2 mg/kg/day of LIV for one
month followed by CCl4 for one week; group IV
received CCl4 for one week and subsequently LIV
(5.2 mg/kg/day) was administered for one month.
Half of the rats were sacrificed one day after the
last treatment, the other half after a 2-week
recovery period.
Results: The toxicant control group had
significantly higher AST and ALT activities, total
bilirubin and lower total protein and GSH levels
compared to the normal control rats. Similarly,
significant increase in serum activities of AST and
ALT were observed in group III compared to the
normal control rats a day after the last treatment
with CCl4, whereas after the recovery period no
significant differences were observed in nearly all
the parameters. Moreover, group IV showed no
significant differences in the parameters
mentioned above compared to the normal control
rats a day after the last treatment with LIV and
after the recovery period.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicated
that LIV was better as a curative agent rather
than a prophylactic agent in rats.

Foods You Should Avoid
Alcohol – No brainer. The most important
change for anyone diagnosed with hepatitis is
the complete elimination of alcohol from his or
her life. Learn why quitting alcohol is a
necessity.
Wheat and Gluten – Gluten is highly
inflammatory, because we were not really
designed to digest it. Furthermore, the GMO
grains have a higher gluten content. Most
wheat flower is GMO’d to create a wheat that
is resistant to pesticides and climate
stressors. These strains are very hard to digest
and, therefore, inflammatory. Learn about
gluten’s role in liver disease and how to
protect yourself .
Tap Water –Your tap water may contain more
than you bargained for, including heavy metals,
chlorine, fluoride, inorganic chemicals and
compounds that the liver is not able to
process. Even the shower you take every day
has toxins in it which are absorbed through the
skin and inhaled through the lungs. Filtered
water is of course better than tap water.
Consider having your water tested to decide
what is most appropriate for you and your
family. For greater safety, you may want to
consider drinking bottled water. Distilled water
is another possibility, but there is some
controversy over its benefits, therefore you may
wish to take distilled water in moderation.
Junk Foods – These are our favorite foods but
the name fits. Junk is junk, meaning worthless.
Our body does not get a good source of
nutrition from junk foods and, most often, they
are full of all the things we need to stay away
from – including fats, sugars, empty calories,
chemicals and additives. Our poor livers don’t
need this added stress.
White Flour (unless it is organic and unbleached)
– Bleached white flour has been chemically
processed. Lots of vitamins and minerals are
lost during the process; about 78%. When we
consume this chemically-altered product our
bodies need extra vitamins and minerals in
order to process it and utilize it. Try these
recipes for Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour or
Gluten-Free Whole-Grain Flour instead.
Hydrogenated Oils – Hydrogenated (they are
refined) oils are another product that is hard
for the liver to handle. This includes any type
of oil or fat that hardens when cold. A better
choice would be flaxseed oil or virgin olive oil.
Dairy Products – Dairy foods are extremely hard
to digest. Learn the link between liver disease
and dairy products.
Fruit Juices – These beverages are high in
concentrated sugar. Sugar is a shock to the
liver, stresses the digestive process, stresses
the pancreas, and it feeds the Hepatitis C
virus.
Artificial Sweeteners – The first word gives you
the first clue: artificial. These sweeteners are
extremely hard for the liver to process. Find
out how to keep foods sweet with liver
disease.
Processed Foods – We all know processed
foods contain unnatural substances,
preservatives, fillers and chemically treated
substances. Common sense tells us this is not
healthy for us.

Hepatitis B Diet
For the most part, a hepatitis B diet has the
same elements as a diet for an average, healthy
person. People with hepatitis B should eat a diet
with lots of heart-healthy foods (such as fruits,
vegetables, and whole grains) and limited
amounts of fat, and should also maintain a
healthy weight. People who have hepatitis B
should also avoid alcohol completely. unuane1 I listed those food for a patient of Hepatitis Type A but it can be circular for a Hepatitis patient. Which drug do you use?

i was diagnosed with hepatitis B in 2008.i tried treatment with several doctors but it was futile.eventually i met a lady doctor who placed my a diet along with a few drugs for 6 months.after 3months,the test showed the virus was non-reactive after the 6ymonths,the test was negative.after 1 year, the test still showed negative and remains so.she toldme i was the second case she treated with that particular regimen.two of the drugs are available in any pharmacy, livolin and immunace.the third, methionine isnt registered by nafdac and isnt readily available.she had to order it through some contacts abroad.i dont know if its now available.the most important part is the diet.you have to stay away from everything that contains oil.no milk, meat, fish, etc.take lots of water and fruits.i dont recommend the treatment,am just stating what treatment i was given.consult your doctor for more advice
God will bless you, I was tested hbv positive three months ago and I had that diet is very important especially removing oil and meat from diet. Thanks for your contributions.

Hello house,

I was diagnosed of hep B some three months ago and am about going for further tests.

More important now is that I was sucessful in all the recruitment process for a role in a multinational company( it's an experienced role and I was the only one sucessful).

Being the last stage I was sent a medical form to take to a specified hospital for medical assessment. Alas! on the form, hep B was part of the test to be conducted.

Pls house, what could be my fate after the company detects my hep B status? Would they not descriminate against me?

As anyone in the house ever been in a similar situation? how did it turn out? Would being hep B positive mean an end to one's career aspirations? Am very worried now, I have invested so in my self.

Lastly is there any organisation local or abroad that sees into the rigth of people living with hep B?
