Whenever my baby poo, it's always hard and he struggles(cry attyms wit fighting leg that i wnt even knw mayb na colic o or normal) b4 he gets it out self. When my mum was around, she said we shd reduce the formula to 3caps for 120ml instead of 4caps but dey do use 4caps in his creche so I told dem to reduce it and do water well for him too den d poo became normal BUT pls am I doing well wit the reduction because my mind b like am nt gvn him d required qty needed though he's nt getting slim or anytyn o

I wonder how this engorgement no dey pain me oo. Sometimes my breast go hard like stone and my padded bra ld b soaked bt I go still dey normal, no headache, no pain, just soaked bra and cloth b4 I ll nw use hand to express it out as I no get breastpump.

Lucky you oo, the one time it happened to me was not funny at all oo. My boobs were like rock .. Since that day, if my mum telos me to give my DD formula, I'll tell her my breast is full and I don't want that midnight experience.. I ate more than half of the NAN myself... Thank God you don't experience the pain oo

When we go out and I start feeding him the type of look people give me ehn, like I am one unserious mother using a bottle , before i use to feel bad, but now I just give them the ugly look back

May God help you, its really not easy.. Try the nurse's suggestion. I guess if he's off bottles for a while, he'll grab nipple when it enters his mouth..

I'll suggest you give e him the required feed quantity as stated and probably increase the number of times you give him water so that you don't deprive him the nutrients thats meant for 120ml

tho I have never been in this situation yet, but if nah me Sha, and I no fit hold the poo again.. wait sef, cant u put him inside his rocker, oeon toilet door waaaa, keep him a little far away from the toilet but he can see you from the distance, then u be singing sweet songs to him and be doing your thing

y dont u try n b putting 4 cap n increase d water to 150 dt way e gt d required dos of formula he needs.

pracetamol n double his pampers... Put vaseline and penicillin on d circumcision area n let his body do d rest... Chang his pampers often too... Welcome to baby mamas thread

d ring one is better and heals faster, that wool one nah just rubbish and old style.
Paracetamol every six and half hours, that's like morning, afternoon, night, midnight.

Rob penicillin on it often.

but i i did that wool one 4 my firstborn n it healed faster, my second born was laser n it took almost 2weeks to heal

the wool doesn't fall off easily you need to apply plenty engine oil.. d wool drills deep into the flesh. It looks really painful

Morning yall... I hope u all enjoy ur night? Yesterday was a panic day 4 me wen my baby milk finish n my baby milk prescription order was yet to arrived at d pharmacy (mothers gt special milk prescription for babies that have cow milk allergy) ... My baby was unable to eat 4 almost 6hours straight, i cant give him my breastmilk cs i dont ve any store away, n i cant express cs i foolishly took a medicatn to dry my breastmilk (doesn't work anyways, still expressing but not so much like b4) which is totally toxic to baby if i fed baby d breastmilk n mind u e has protein in cow milk allergy n i ve bein consuming milk lik cat 4 like 4 days, so breastmilk issa no no automatically... Had to go bk to my doc to get anoda prescription, on getting der d receptionist said doc is gonna call me on phone... I swear to God i dnt knw how tears start drippin down my face lik river... I couldnt control the tears wen i was explainin 2 d receptionist dt my baby havent eaten for 6 to 7hrs... I need to get a milk prescription NOW PLS!!! Wen d woman saw how i was crying... Omo!!! Come c d way d she quickly went in n helped me talked to d doctor... Within 3mins, my baby prescription was sent to d pharmacy... D receptionist even asked me if i need anything dt she will help... Told her i only need d prescription, thanked her n went away.... I will nva ever delay ordering for prescription ever again, panic isnt good n baby not eating for hrs? Ha!!! Not good... My baby dt eat every 2hrs... Tnk God uncle slept through out dis period cs i was pushing him up n down wit his pram.... Mothers are trying.

Congrats again mama.. You have nothing to worry about as the blood is supposed to gradually reduce till it stops.. If you have panty liner that can serve the purpose, you can use it as well

How did u mothers do it wen u r contipated n u gaz use d toilet asap, u r d only person at home with baby? Do u carry baby wit u to d toilet while u spent hrs tryin to relieve ursef, or u leave baby alone in d room n go do ur number 2? If ur ans is dt u leave baby, what do u do wen baby start crying in d room? Do u continue doing ur business in d toilet or u postpone relieving ursef in d toilet? Wat if u r in d middle of relieving ursef n d thing get stuck in ur number two wat do u do wen baby is crying out 4 u? This actually happened to me yesterday, as it happened i was wondering wat other mamas did wen in dia situation... Wat i actually did was dt i carried baby with me to d toilet on his bouncer but far away from me thou n was playing with him but mr man was complaining wanting me to carry me while i battle wit gettin d waste out of my body but dis thing wasnt showing any sign of comin out any sooner n baby was already getting frustrated , already mkin sound dt he ws abt to cry, i kept mkin faces to mk him laugh but mr man doesnt find it funny, i sing 4 him, e no work ... As e carry mouth yaaa about to burst crying, i just carry my bombom jejely comot toilet to attend to him ... D backpain n leg pains i had afterwards due to d contipation ehn hmmmn(constipation na bad tin wen u r in a hurry) , naso i carry uncle ooo, played wit him n fed him until e feel asleep after 5hrs straight b4 i resumed bk 2 d toilet n resume my bziness, tnk goodness d hrs help my body soften d waste , n it came out easily.. Backpain n leg pains disappear instantly ... Babies can b demanding sha smh... B acting lik little demons

These things happen and they are part of the challenges of motherhood. Personally I continue my toilet business if I was already doing it and the baby is awake and crying then I console myself that if he didn't cry when he was born, we won't have left the hospital so crying won't kill him.

My baby is 3 months and almost two weeks, last week Tuesday, l started noticing pain on my left hand breast but didn't pay attention to it cos sometimes I feel like that after oga has finished breastfeeding.
Fast forward to Sunday evening. The pain became constant l had to check on the breast to know exactly where the pain was.
I found out it was at my areola, just before the nipple, hubby touched it, it had a little lump, he said it was boil ( meanwhile my baby is seriously suffering from boils and rashes with pus on the mouth, doc said too much heat l should open him up, the guy is so big, he has a lot of folds and always sweating). I wonder how l will have boil there, googled and was told cos am breastfeeding, it will clear on its on, problem now is lump is getting bigger and pepperish when anything touches it and it is hot am taking ampiclox for two days now but no result pls any body with this experience?
What do l do baby is still breastfeeding. Thanks

hello dear.. Boils is a bacterial infectn so use d antibiotics dt u r using... Its only bein 2days u used it... Boils dnt just disappeared like dt.. It takes a while b4 it dries off, give d antibiotics time to do its work internally, externally lut shea butter on d affected area or palmoil so dt d pulse in boil can soften n drain out painlessly.... U said ur son hav boil on his mouth too... I tink u shld not feed ir baby d breast dt is affected to suck... Giv him d right breast instead.... D boil on ur son lips too will go cs e too will tk frm d antibiotics u too frm d breastmilk.... Goodluck.

Kokaiye typed exactly what I was going to type,but if I must add, ur baby probably got infected by d infected breast, no give am dt breast again o,I hope d doctor u said is a paediatrician? If not, go get a good paediatrician to see
Ur baby o, if u stop breastfeeding him on d affected breast ,u will feel more pain but all u need to do is to extract d breast milk n dispose,so u can have some relief, u will be fine.

Pls my son doesn't have boil on his mouth, l was trying to describe the kind of rash that comes and some of them changes to boil on his body.
The rashes have pus on the mouth is what l meant.
As for my son his fine now, no more boils.
I will do as u have advised, just that breastfeeding him on that breast is heavenly.
