Well,on d pack of peak 123,I don't think there's anywhere written that u shld giv a baby milk dat's bn open 4 ova a mth.I knw its written on Aptamil,NAN&SMA.I giv baby both peak 123&Complan so her milk stays ova a mth&it hasn't done s**t 2her.Ya u can prepare milk&giv him but at a yr,he shld b takin tea instead of milk alone.D only thng u shld do is dat u shldn't b addin al d sachet of milk in d tin/container at once cos these ppl we live wit don't cover d tin of milk well atyms&air ends up enterin d milk.

I am a mother of two and I am willing 2 answer your question dear.Concerning the first question,its not true as far as it is properly covered and stored in d right place,I use milk for 2 months or more.I will also advice u use COMPLAN milk instead of peak 123 I av used it and there was no good result cos it made my first child stool and lose weight instead of adding and I keep hearing negative reviews from mothers around me.At d age of one they lose weight unlike when they were infants cos they might have stop breastfeeding and they easily fall ill(like teething), they run around, they are getting taller and they might be playing with their meals so they need milk that will make them add weight not d other way round.Incase u wanna know d price its within d range of 2200-2500 and pls turn it into a container and close it properly.
About d second question,I think that is d amount they sell it and I wud advice u take it now if u av d money before it becomes scarce and she seriously needs 2 take it as soon as possible,this diseases r in d air n she needs 2 b immunised 2 fight against them.

Chicken pox vaccine can b scarce.it took me ova 3mths,afta my baby turned 1yr 2get chicken pox vaccine at a different hospital outside where I use&i paid abt 4,500 or so.I knw paid 11k for MMR&chicken pox.I can't remember d prices 4each.My dear,just close eye&giv those 2 at any price.My neighbour's 3yr old son got mumps&i asked her if sh didn't giv him MMR vaccine&sh said dat its not amongst d ones dat's free in Govt hospitals&u knw mumps highly contagious&causes sterility in boys so I heard d 2nd son dat's a year + is feverish so nobody knws if he has contacted it too

I buy d complan milk for 1700&d beverage 900&atyms 1k.Complan is vry good cos my girl can talk&is so tall&a littl big dat ppl ask if sh's upto 2yrs.I also use honey 4her pap although I started at 5mths.Its so true dat kids lose weight as they grow so d whole weight thng doesn't bother me so much but as d paed said,there's a certain weight dat a child is expected 2hav at a certain age

Pls giv d chicken pox at any cost.My husbnd's nephew cam frm holiday in my crib&we enrolled him 4summer lesson only 4him 2go there&contact chicken pox.Thanx 2vaccination,my baby didn't get it but my elder brother&his 10mth old son dat just stayed ova nyt at my place enroute back 2Ireland got d chicken pox.Wen they stayed at my place,d boy hadn't com dwn wit d pus-lik rashes.It was just d fever&we took him 2d hospital 2test 4malaria or infectn not knwin it was chicken pox.Wot if d boy got d chicken pox when I was stil lookin 4d vaccine 2giv my baby.Hmmm.

Pele.I feel u baby.Just b careful not 2get pregnant anytym soon.My period started a mth afta delivery so I just carried my pretty fat ass 2another room cos me,I practice lead us not in2 temptation.My collegue got pregnant afta 3mths of delivery (her period started a mth afta too)&secretly went 2abort d baby without d consent of d husbnd&it nearly broke d marriage cos there was complications afta d abortion;dats how her boo found out.God wil c u thru but zip up o.If u can get these women dat sweep in church,they can com&help out wit d twins or get u somone dat'l com&stay wit u durin d day&leav in d evenin.Twins?? she was 2.8 @birth. i do give her pap made with jero and oka baba +the milk and sometimes soya. i used to give frisogold rice but i needed to give mixed grain so i got nutriben. dont know if u heard of it before. it is from 6 months to 3 yrs. there's a 4grain and 8 grain. the 8 grain is with fruits but its the 4 grain cereal i give. its already added with milk.
as for beans yes i do give her cooked with carrots, fish, tomamtoes and onions. then i mash it when soft. she loves it. i just introduced amala and she took it well. she also takes semo too.
what kind of tea do i give her? ovaltine or milo? how do i give her coz she doesnt like anything apart from water in her sippy cup. not even milk. but she likes bread. i just feel i m not doing enough for her but i also iknow that her stature can be genetic. if she cant grow fat @ least she should be weighty.

Ok.I knw nutriben.Heinz product I think.Its vry good&really makes children add weight.Mayb her stature is genetic cos frm al u mentioned,u'r doin tremendously well.u'r doin enuf dear.don't beat urself up.I use milo.add 2 spoons of milo&a spoon of milk in2 60mls.try it.sh might lik it.Sh'l b weighty.Don't giv up.Motherhood is d hardest job in d world

It depends on ur pocket.Aptamil is abt 4,500,Emfamil is abt 8k;Similac is abt 4k but if u hav ppl in UK;they can buy it 4u cos its cheaper there as I heard&giv it 2somone comin back 2Naija.It'l save u a lot of money.They're al vry good.&ur baby wil so lik it dat he/sh wil finish dat big tin in a wk if u'r stoppin bosm feedin or least 2wks.Walai,me I used NAN then wen sh got 2a year,I switched 2complan&peak 123.Goodluck

Complan is frm a year.Dat frisocream&cerelac purged my baby so I ran.My baby took only pap 4long til I discovered purity (d strawberry flavour) whch sh like eh!I also gav her cow&gate;d banana&strawberry flavour&sh tolerated it&even made her add weight.Heinz is vry vry good too.Anythng rice wil make her add weight.Ya,sh has reached d age of takin egg yolk.But also try&c if this ur child wil tak frisocream (ricebase).because it purged d older child doesn't mean it'l purge dis one too.Body systems ar different.Pls start now 2giv amala,yam,potato,beans,fish.Let them b ur 1st choice of food so dat ur baby doesn't bcom choosy lik myn

That's hardcore.Its even betta 2b takin d injections than dat implan woteva.My gynae said sh prefers it on women who has had many kids cos d long term effect can prevent u frm takin in.Sh said cos it takes ova a year 4d hormone 2withdraw frm d system&u'l b bleedin irregularly.Wen I go 2hospital,I first of al ask of side effect mehnnn.My sista used IUD or woteva its called&it worked 4her.My boo rejected all,mayb tryin 2trick me but me??I'v got my own ways

when you travel, Jhou could take your breast pump along so that when you get back it will still be ok. My sister used similac. Her baby loved it and its very good. The girl is going to be 3 by October but she behaves like a 5 year old. she has a customer then that do sell to her at wholesale price so she got it cheaper. As for ne I believe its better to spend money on feeding than expensive baby clothes because the food they eat now is the foundation for their future.

Thanks so much for your reply. I'll definately give complan a try. Yes its weight has reduced compare too when he was still younger, aldou he is getting taller. I don't mind him adding more weight, so I'm trying complan, and other suggestion av read on this thread.

@jade tanks so much, I will try oda foods as U̶̲̥̅̊ earlier mentioned, will also try d frisogold rice cereal. M̶̲̥̅when I had M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ first baby M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ period resumed after 1month, but wit M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ second it came after 5months.

I also used PRE -NAN for my preterm baby, but switched to Aptamil when she was full term and a bit. ( I calculated that with my EDD)

Do tests (I think its hormonal profile tests) before using it. My friend did not do so and later found out that she had progesterone (hope I got the spelling) overload. She did not have periods and was always tired and moody. Finally when her period came, it went on for 2 months. The doctor had to start her on estrogen oral contraceptives to balance it. Now, she is having all the estrogen overload symptoms.

The good thing is that it is for 3 yrs and you don't have to remember to take any medication. Once u do the test and its ok for your system, then go ahead. Especially if you have had kids and want a break.
